The multimedia adapter works perfectly with devices: MacBook Pro (2019/2018), MacBook Air (2018/2019), Mac Mini (2018). The adapter does not support single USB-C MacBook models, nor does it work with Apple SuperDrive.
If you want to connect monitors thanks to the adapter, you need a display that has a direct connection from HDMI to HDMI. VGA, Thunderbolt, or DVI display are not supported.
