The main advantage of the sensor is the work in horizontal and vertical mode, high speed compared to the iPhone X through the Apple A12X Bionic, but more on that later.

FaceID can be used not only to unlock the iPad, but also to pay for purchases on the Internet and the AppStore, payments on sites - an ideal level of security.

More cores, more megahertz

Standard practice is to increase the number of cores, megahertz, RAM every year. This time, the iPad "jumped over its head." On board this "baby" is installed a powerful, at the moment, mobile processor Apple A12X Bionic. It is built on 64-bit architecture and uses Neural Engine technology to train neural networks. To help the A12X, the M12 coprocessor is installed, which is responsible for processing motion and position sensors. All this is designed to optimize and improve battery life.

By the way, about permanent memory, not operational. If last year the volume of 512GB was given out as something of the kind "and WELL ?!", now I can say that in 2018 a tablet PC has 1TB Flash NAND installed. Bravo, 1TB. The base MacBook Air has 128GB installed, but here it is almost 10 times more ...

USB Type-C

Now you can forget about Lightning on iPad. Forget about all the inconvenience that was associated with it.
