The speed deserves a medal.

What has definitely changed here is the speed of work. The new Apple A9 processor is head and shoulders above the chip used in the iPhone 6. The animation is much crisper and smoother. The speed of launching applications and processing information, in our opinion, has doubled.
The next difference is in RAM. Its now 2GB. Thanks to this volume, you can easily run and not exclude many games and programs. We would like to note that some programs can work in the "background" for 2 days.

Now Touch ID works about 2 times faster. It is enough to touch the scanner for a split second, and the phone is already unlocked. The accuracy has also increased.

Design.

Shape and size remain unchanged. The material has changed a bit. Yes, it's still aluminum, but now it's a 7000 series alloy. Apple started using it because of problems with the case in the iPhone 6 Plus, which, in turn, easily bent. The weight has slightly increased, but now the phone feels more secure.

In addition to the new alloy, the company has added a new color - Rose Gold (pink gold). A very romantic color that is suitable for the beautiful half of humanity. All the rest remained the same as it was before.

Clear camera.

In addition to the speed of work, the quality of the camera has greatly increased. It is the camera extension that has grown from 8MP to 12MP. The clarity in the photo has increased significantly. But this camera is not the only "megapixels" that is good. Aperture 2.6 has become 2.2, that is, the quality of the photo in the dark will become better.

Photos from such a camera automatically become masterpieces. No setup required, 1 touch and you're done. The front camera has similarly "grown up". From 1.3MP to 5MP. A front-facing flash has appeared, which will make your photo brighter in low light.

Is it worth updating?

Quite a logical question, given that they look the same. But we can definitely say yes. Better camera, better speed, everything is much better here.
