iPhone XS Max - the biggest, the best!

Everywhere there are phones with an edge-to-edge screen and a bang on top (aka a unibrow). And all Chinese manufacturers are only engaged in copying the design of the iPhone X. And on September 12, 2018, the world showed 3 new iPhones, and now we’ll talk about the iPhone XS.

This is a direct successor to the iPhone X. The device with the "S" in the name is a work on the bugs, very good, because we get the finished product without problems and other shortcomings. This has been the custom since the days of the iPhone 3G and has been going on for almost 10 years.

Based on the Apple A11 chip, which received an update on all fronts. The first thing I can note is that when creating the processor, a 7nm process technology was used, which makes this "stone" the first of its kind. Thanks to this, it has become 50% more energy efficient. It was named Apple A12 Bionic. The chip now uses about 6.9 billion transistors.

It is worth noting that many changes have affected machine learning. Due to the fact that the sector in the processor that corresponds to this has become 8 cores, the number of operations per second has reached 5 trillion! Just a cosmic number. Use this training to speed up and improve the algorithms of the camera, FaceID, application launch, Siri ShortCuts, AR applications.

The graphics system has also been updated. Now 4 cores work here for the benefit of excellent graphics and interface drawing. The GPU has become 50 percent faster, which is good news.

In addition, you will be able to edit the aperture (bokeh effect) after the picture has been taken. Looks just magical.

On our own, we can add that the number of megapixels does not always decide in matters of photo quality, the algorithm of work and optics are much more important now. The iPhone XS and iPhone XS Max have all of these things in order and the photos from these phones are just cosmic.

The size, shape and extension remain the same, but there is one big "but". The quality has gone up. The OLED panel delivered perfect colors and very deep blacks back in the days of the iPhone X, but Apple has gone even further. The range of colors has grown by 60 percent! Watching HDR movies here is not a problem at all, all content will become much more pleasing to the eye.

Another important change was the upgrade of the "call" screen to 120 Ghz. This means that the sensor will work even faster and more accurately. True Tone mode will allow you to enjoy it without any eye problems. Thanks to this feature, the screen adjusts to ambient lighting and changes the white balance for ease of use.

The screen resolution remained the same as it was - 2688 × 1242 pixels. The density is 456 pixels per inch, which has long been higher than the usual Retina. The diagonal is 6.5 inches. Great screen to say the least.
